Our story.

Commercial wine growers and producers contribute significantly to the regional communities of the Murray Darling Basin, industry levies, employment, international exports, and environmental transformation.

ACWP represent the wineries who produce more than 70% of Australia’s wine exports. Working in collaboration with our members, we raise awareness and fight for changes that will allow us to create a more sustainable, innovative, and secure future for the Australian wine industry as a whole.

In policy forums. Our members make up a significant percentage of the Australian Commercial Wine sector. ACWP are fighting for recognition to ensure a seat at the table, to ensure our voices are heard in the rooms where the future of the Australian Wine Industry is being forged.

Of mandatory levies. Levy arrangements should be relevant and responsive to industry needs. They should be in place to support an industries’ ability to respond to opportunities and problems. ACWP are at the forefront of new and evolving levy information as it is proposed and introduced. We are passionate about ensuring growers and producers have an equitable say when it comes to levies that affect them.

Supply & demand balance. Recent years have seen the wine industry face complex challenges concerning supply and demand. From economical factors to evolving environmental issues and consumer preferences, all have emphasised the need for resilience and flexibility in the face of an ever-evolving landscape.
